Recovery Mode

I used to be better at blogging. I’m hoping to be better at it again soon.

I’m just back from my first ever cruise, and from opening day of the Epcot Food & Wine festival. Enjoyed the cruise, most especially the time to visit & relax with folks I don’t get to do those things with often enough.

Weather wasn’t conducive to much interesting photography, and I’m so very behind on edits. Working on that too, as well as getting my studio reset after reconfiguring it to be a solo space. Not much creative work, but lots of the work that supports the ability to do creative work. Gotta walk before you can run.

Tuesday I’ll be reading The Brightest Fell by Seanan McGuire. It’s the 11th book in the October Daye series & I’m very excited to read it. Toby’s come a long way & I’m really looking forward to how she handles the next journey. If you like urban fanstasy, detective stories, or both, and you’re not reading Toby already, Rosemary & Rue is the beginning of the series & I recommend it highly.

I’m off for now, I’ll be back in less than 10 months, really I will.
